What are you going to do as a Field Service Engineer - International
You will work in a team of appoximately 12 people. Not everybody lives in the Netherlands.
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll serve as the go-to expert for the customers, providing on-site and remote support. From troubleshooting to training, no two days will be the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering expert technical support and solutions to customers and their service teams.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues on advanced machinery through your knowledge and team collaboration.
- Responding to incoming service requests via phone or email with professionalism and clarity.
- Conducting root cause analysis of breakdowns and providing clear, actionable solutions.
- Keeping clients informed about product developments and updates.
- Visiting work sites internationally to support and follow up on technical inquiries.
- Assisting with warranty procedures and technical field campaigns.
- Leading product training sessions for service teams and end-users.
- Performing machine inspections both new and operational units.
- Offering maintenance and replacement part advice based on machine assessments.
- Developing clear, useful documentation to help the wider technical support community.
What are we looking for?
- A completed technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
- Prior experience with construction equipment is a plus, though recent graduates with strong technical knowledge are welcome.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components is preferred.
- A proactive, team-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written). French is a nice bonus.
- Ability to work towards root cause analysis on technical issues and solving conflict, frequent travel is required.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Excellent computer skills
