What you will do as Global Service Engineer
As a Global Service Engineer you are the primary point of contact for customers, including distributors, dealers and shipbuilders. You communicate with them through various channels, such as telephone, CRM and in-person visits, to provide timely support.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support to customers adhering to departmental protocols;
- Extend remote technical assistance through telephone and CRM platforms, and provide on-site support as required;
- Evaluate warranty claims by conducting meticulous root cause analyses;
- Stay in touch with your colleagues worldwide to tackle customer queries, technical support matters, and warranty issues;
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues onsite;
- Collaborate with sales engineers, application engineers, and other Customer Support Department members to streamline product service and warranty processes.
Who are we looking for
The ideal Global Service Engineer possesses extensive experience in service engineering, particularly in B2B environments. You have a proven track record of effectively managing customer technical inquiries and providing solutions.
To perform this role well, our client requires you to have the following points:
- MBO 4 in a technical field;
- Strong understanding of engines;
- Proper English in reading, writing and speech;
- Excellent relationship management- and problem-solving skills;
- Positive and open mindset to understand different opinions and approaches.
